The Alpha hotel belong to the Izmailovo Hotel complex (Hotels: Alfa, Beta, Gamma-Delta) that was built in 1979 on the site of the historic Izmailovo village and Royal Estate. During 1980 Moscow Olympics the Izmailovo Hotel complex was used to accommodate many of the athletes attending the games.
The Alfa hotel was renovated in 2000.

The Alfa hotel features 900 single, twin (double) rooms, junior suites, suites or apartments.
Recently renovated deluxe rooms of B-1 (fully renovated) and B-2 (partly renovated) categories, have modern furniture, refrigerator and mini-bar and offer a panoramic view of the Izmailovo Park and nearby lake.
